Miniload uses the automatic stacking crane in the lane to run back and forth in the high shelf lane, and stores the goods at the lane entrance into the cargo grid, or on the contrary, takes out the goods in the cargo grid and transports them to the lane entrance.
At present, miniload database system is widely used in e-commerce and pharmaceutical logistics. However, there are still some defects in the miniload silo system: there is only one stacker in each lane, and once the stacker fails, the shelves on both sides of the lane will not be able to move up and down. At the same time, the working efficiency of the miniload silo system is directly determined by the vertical and horizontal moving speed of the stacker, which makes it lack of flexibility.
Shuttle
Shuttle belongs to the intensive shelf storage system. The aisle of the shelf is narrower, the storage is more intensive, and the floor area is less.
Shuttle has the meaning of "shuttle, shuttle flight". In fact, it refers to the shuttle bus in the intensive storage system. Usually, we use Shuttle to refer to the intensive storage (shuttle bus) system in general. At present, the common dense storage systems include single-layer shuttle, multi-layer shuttle and four-way shuttle.
