AGV is an automated driverless vehicle with its own power and non-contact guidance device. Its main function is to enable the trolley to walk more accurately and stop at the designated place to complete a series of operation functions under the computer monitoring, according to the path planning and operation requirements.
AGV is characterized by wheeled movement. Compared with walking, crawling or other non wheeled mobile robots, AGV has the advantages of rapidity, high efficiency, simple structure, strong controllability and good safety. It can be well matched with stacker, monorail trolley, conveyor belt, conveyor chain and conveyor roller table commonly used in material conveying.
The AGV activity area does not need to lay rails, support frames and other fixed devices, and is not limited by the site, roads and space. The lifting AGV is equipped with a lifting mechanism above the car body, which can raise and lower the goods. The main body is composed of AGV body and lifting mechanism. During the work, AGV needs to walk under the cargo unit, and then the lifting mechanism lifts the cargo. After the cargo is transported to the destination, the lifting mechanism lowers the cargo.
