With the accelerated pace of economic globalization, the huge potential of logistics supply chain has attracted more and more attention. The logistics center is one of the important hubs in the logistics supply chain. It is a facility and organization that accepts and processes the ordering information of downstream users, conducts centralized storage, processing and other operations for large quantities of goods from upstream suppliers, and transfers them to downstream in batches. The direct actuators to realize these functions include:

Here, let's briefly talk about its design steps, which are generally divided into the following steps:

1、 Collect and study the user's original data to clarify the user's goals, including:

Clarify the technological process of the connection between the automated stereoscopic warehouse and the upstream and downstream,

2、 Determine the main forms and relevant parameters of the automated stereo library

After all the original data are collected, relevant parameters required for design can be calculated according to these first-hand data, including: ① requirements for the total quantity of inbound and outbound goods in the whole warehouse area, that is, the flow requirements of the warehouse; ② overall dimensions and weight of the cargo unit; ⑤ Number of positions in the storage area (shelf area) of the warehouse: ④ Determine the number of rows and columns of shelves in the storage area (shelf factory) and the number of lanes and other relevant technical parameters in combination with the above three points.

3、 Reasonably arrange the overall layout and logistics diagram of the automated three-dimensional warehouse

Generally speaking, the automated stereoscopic warehouse includes: warehousing temporary storage area, inspection area, stacking area, storage area, outbound temporary storage area, pallet temporary storage area, nonconforming product temporary storage area and sundries area. When planning, it is not necessary to plan each of the above areas in the stereoscopic warehouse. Each area and increase/decrease area can be reasonably divided according to the user's process characteristics and requirements. At the same time, it is also necessary to reasonably consider the material flow to make the flow of materials unimpeded, which will directly affect the capacity and efficiency of the automated three-dimensional warehouse.

4、 Select mechanical equipment type and relevant parameters

The design of shelves is an important part of the design of three-dimensional warehouse, which directly affects the area and space utilization of three-dimensional warehouse.

① Shelf form: There are many forms of shelves, and the shelves used in automated three-dimensional warehouse generally include: Pallet Racks Bracket shelf, mobile shelf, etc. During design, it can be reasonably selected according to the overall dimensions, weight and other relevant factors of the cargo unit.

② The size of the rack: The size of the rack depends on the gap between the cargo unit and the rack column, crossbeam (bracket). The same pair, to some extent, is also affected by the rack structure type and other factors.

Stacker

The stacker is the core equipment of the entire automated stereo warehouse, which can carry goods from one place to another through manual operation, semi-automatic operation or full automatic operation. It consists of a frame (upper beam, lower beam, column), a horizontal travel mechanism, a lifting mechanism, a cargo platform, a fork and an electrical control system.

① Determination of stacker type: There are various types of stackers, including single track tunnel stacker, double track tunnel stacker, rotary tunnel stacker, single column stacker, double column stacker, etc.

② Determination of stacker speed: calculate the horizontal speed, lifting speed and fork speed of the stacker according to the flow requirements of the warehouse.

③ Other parameters and configuration: the positioning mode and communication mode of the stacker shall be selected according to the warehouse site conditions and user requirements. The configuration of the stacker can be high or low, depending on the specific situation.

According to the logistics diagram, reasonably select the type of conveyor, including: roller conveyor, chain conveyor, belt conveyor, lifting transfer machine, elevator, etc. At the same time, the speed of the conveying system should be reasonably determined according to the instantaneous flow of the warehouse.

Other equipment

According to the technological process of the warehouse and some special requirements of users, some auxiliary equipment can be appropriately added, including handheld terminals, forklifts, balance cranes, etc.

5、 Preliminary design of various functional modules of control system and warehouse management system (WMS)

The control system and warehouse management system (WMS) shall be designed reasonably according to the technological process of the warehouse and the requirements of users. The control system and warehouse management system generally adopt modular design, which is easy to upgrade and maintain.

6、 Simulation of the whole system

If conditions permit, the simulation of the whole system can give a more intuitive description of the storage and transportation work of the three-dimensional warehouse, find some problems and deficiencies, and make corresponding corrections to optimize the entire AS/RS system.

7、 Detailed design of equipment and control management system

The above is the general process of automatic stereoscopic library design, which can be flexibly applied in combination with specific conditions in specific design.
