From the 1980s to the 1990s, the design and manufacturing of intelligent warehouse products have made great progress. There are dozens of scientific research and production units in the country carrying out the development, design and manufacturing of intelligent warehouses. In recent years, academic organizations in the warehousing and logistics industry regularly exchange academic experience in China. In view of the current level of design and manufacturing of intelligent warehouses in China, a series of industrial standards and specifications have been formulated with reference to foreign standards, so that the design and manufacturing of intelligent warehouses have entered into different stages of standardized development The width of passageway is different from that of modern warehouse, and the configuration of equipment in the warehouse should adapt to the type of warehouse. 1.2 Advantages and classification of intelligent warehouse 1.2.1 Advantages of intelligent warehouse The advantages of intelligent warehouse are in many aspects, mainly in the following aspects. 1. The basic starting point of the early concept of intelligent warehouse to improve the space utilization rate is to improve the space utilization rate and fully save the limited and expensive sites. In some western developed countries, the idea of improving the space utilization rate has a broader and deeper meaning, and saving land has been linked with saving energy, protecting the environment and other aspects.
